Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice in it
What does this mean to me?….. It is a humbling verse/statement to me. It is a reminder that the creator of the heavens and earth and all the universe is still creating, still in control of everything that may be happening in our lives and this existence. Not only that, our great God and creator sustains His creation as well. Everything is in His hands and control. God is HOLY HOLY HOLY!!! God is righteous, just and faithful. All is for His glory.
So….Hallelujah, all praise and honor and glory to our Heavenly Father. I rejoice in it!!!
To me this verse means that every day God has me in His hands. He created the day and created and therefore everything is perfect in His image and he has all things under control. I will continue to put my trust in Him daily.
